Progress!
For the past 2 years (and a bit) I have been making a quilt called Irish Circles by Karen Cunningham. Well I am feeling a little bit excited as I have now managed to complete all of the inside blocks. All I have to do now is the borders. One border is appliqued and the other is pieced. I am hoping it is not going to take me another 2 years to finish them...... Here is a sneak peak at some of my blocks. I will post another photo once I have them sewn up together.

Finally!
Welcome everyone to my new blogspot. I began patchworking in 1993 making numerous amounts of quilts to build up my skills. In 2002 I began teaching at the Cootamundra Sewing Centre. In 2009 the opportunity arose for me to purchase that shop and so now I am the proud owner. Over the past 2 years I have been increasing the stock levels of the shop so that I now have a beautiful big range of reproduction fabrics. I also stock other styles however my love for antique look quilts has led me down that path.
The newest range to hit the shop has been "Hannah Wallis" c1840 by Wyndham Fabrics. Here is a pick of some of what is available.
At the moment I am madly trying to finish the quilt titled "Pie in the Sky" from the Kim Diehl book "Simple Graces" here is a pic of work in progress. Kits are available just contact me at the shop. The book is also available and has many other yummy projects in it.
